Description
The belief that cardinals are spiritual messengers exists in many cultures. The word cardinal is derived from the Latin word cardo, meaning hinge or axis. Like a door’s hinge, the cardinal is the hinge that opens the door between earth and spirit. The cardinal carries messages back and forth. The red bird may appear as a representative of a loved one who has passed away. They often come when you miss that person the most. They also appear during times of celebration. The striking red feathers of a chirping male cardinal is certainly hard to ignore. They come insisting that you pay attention. “Cardinal Angel of the Snow,” is a digital painting and composite by Spadecaller.
