Description
For thousands of years the Japanese maple tree has played an important part in Asian art, gardening and poetry. This beautiful tree features foliage that turns attractive shades of deep red and purple each spring and fall.
Considered a symbol of serenity, grace and elegance, many Asian cultures have produced classic works of art portraying these trees. Representing balance and practicality, the Japanese named them "kito," which means "calm," "rest" or "at peace."
Spadecaller presents “Japanese Maple,” which is a hand-painted digital image created in his Florida studio.
