Product Details

Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

Artist's Description

One of the most beautiful of all the marsh birds native to Florida is the Roseate Spoonbill. It can be found in tranquil lakes, estuaries, and swamps. Considered a species of special concern in Florida, this majestic and unusual bird will usually avoid areas heavily populated by humans. Habitat destruction and degradation, along with declining food sources are the major threats to their continued survival. Other threats include pesticides, pollution and illegal hunting. Roseate spoonbills are listed as a “State Species of Special Concern” and are protected under the U.S. Migratory Bird Treaty Act. This Spadecaller image is a digital painting and composite that includes modified elements derived from "Morning in the Tropics," (1855) by Frederic Edwin Church.
