Interests all along the coasts of the Southeast and mid-Atlantic are being put on alert for a strike from Florence, a category 4 Hurricane. Meteorologists believe that Hurricane Florence will reach the Carolina coasts and pose a serious threat to lives and property. Tropical-storm-force winds are due to reach the coasts of North and South Carolina on Thursday morning, September 13, 2018. Hurricane-force winds may be felt around Thursday night. Landfall is anticipated Friday morning. Florence is one of the strongest hurricanes to churn toward the eastern seaboard in decades.
