Product Details

The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.

The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall.   This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.

Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.

We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

Artist's Description

Porterweed is in the genus Stachytarpheta, which is comprised of 65 species. These annual herbs or low, perennial shrubs mostly of the New World tropics are found in southeast Asia and on Pacific Islands. They are members of the Verbena family and are highly regarded as butterfly attractors. In the tropical Americas, they attract hummingbirds as well. For this reason, many porterweed species have found their way into cultivation in tropical and warm temperate regions of the world.

They are popular throughout the Caribbean, and in Florida. This image showcases the violetear hummingbird, which is found in Mexico, and Central and northern South America. In addition to various medicinal properties, the porterweed species found in the Bahamas is used to brew a frothy type beer, which is used to reduce fever, alleviate skin irritations, constipation, and kill worms in children.

Porterweed plants offered in many Florida nurseries and garden shops are either mislabeled or so...
