During the summer several years ago, I lived in the Pocono Mountains, where the white-tailed deer are plentiful. At dawn and dusk, I enjoyed watching the White-tailed deer coming down from the hills and walking warily into the meadow. This is a hand-painted digital painting and photo composite created in Spadecaller’s Florida studio on 6/21/2020.
Spadecaller is an experienced traditional artist, who creates original hand-painted digital images and photo composite artworks. In the late fifties at eight years old, Spadecaller started formal training in traditional oil painting.Through considerable personal sacrifice, his mother nurtured his artistic talents and provided him with the tools to launch his creative journey. Spadecaller attended The School of Visual Arts in New York City (1970-71), and during the 70's up until the late 80's, he exhibited acrylic and oils in Montreal and New York.
