Description
Dark-eyed Juncos are neat, flashy little sparrows that flit about the forest floors and hop among the tree branches of the western mountains and Canada during the summer months. In winter they inhabit all of North America. The Cherokee Princess Dogwood in this Spadecaller bird portrait serves the Junco well during Autumn, when the tree presents dark red leaves and brilliant red berries. Though the fruit is inedible to humans, it attracts wildlife and a multitude of bird species.
