Artist's Description

Primula vulgaris, commonly known as the Primrose, is native to west and south Europe (including the UK) and north west Africa. One of the earliest spring flowers to bloom; sometimes known to bloom during the winter. The root of the name Primula is from the Latin name for the Primrose, prima rosa meaning ‘first rose’. Where the winters are long and cold, the exquisite primrose thrives. “Primrose Flower on Window Sill,” is a digital painting and composite created by Spadecaller.
