Description
Rudbeckia, commonly known as black-eyed Susan, was originally found growing wild, but did not grow well in the garden. When it was hybridized, it become an incredible cultivated flower – in fact, one of the most popular garden perennials found in the garden. Most famous is Rudbeckia "Goldsturm," the one you see everywhere every summer, blooming abundantly for several weeks. They all return unfailingly with more and more blooms each year. Among the easiest plants to grow, they are loved by butterflies. This is a monarch butterfly in the picture.
